Finding a Realtor
Anna understands that a realtor can easily make the difference between quickly finding a good buyer for your home or listing it on the market for months without a single nibble of interest. A qualified, license real estate agent will not simply show up on the scene to evaluate what they think they can get for your home (more commission themselves), but will dedicate their time and attention to your specific circumstances by asking you questions about your home and what you are trying to sell for. An experienced real estate agent will also assist with finding you a qualified real estate appraiser who can tell you a fair value for your home in the current market, then, with that figure, work with you to come up with an initial asking price for your home.
Anna is available for information in every step of the process in choosing a realtor. Also in providing information on where the best agents are in your city, how to contact them and what qualifying questions you should ask each before choosing one:
Questions to Ask a Realtor:
- How long have you had your license?
- How many homes have you sold in my city in the past year?
- Are you a member of any associations?
- Do you have a list of past clients/references I can check?
- Do you specialize in any particular types of property?
Don't stop shopping with the first realtor you find in the phone book or online. Call and interview three at minimum, check references, and sleep on it before making a decision.
